he is a 10 -12 year old cat that requires prescription food; hills science diet (from vet, very expensive) and 2 insulin shots a day @ total of 6 units a day ( from vet, very very expensive.).
he enjoys 1) pissing on the carpet 2) scratching the hell out of the carpet, dressers, and furniture, and 3) particularly enjoys kicking all of the litter on the floor so i can walk in it 4) sleeping on my pillow ( i am allergic to animal hair).

I hate that cat, I hate that cat, I hate that cat! I never even mentioned the worst of his favorite things to do. when you are in the bathroom taking care of your bid'ness, he comes in and walks around your feet and lays down in your underwear. The cat has serious problems/ homosexual tendancies. Where do you take a cat with homosexual tendancies to for therapy? Should I accept him for the homosexual cat that he is and put men's underwear out for him to sleep in? On my pillow? I think the cat & I both need therapy. I hate that cat!

Snoozy, where did your husband take the cats to? any suggestions would be appreciated. She got it for her kids, and one is moved out, and the other one just plays video games all day and gives it no attention. She tolerates it, does not really want it either because of it's habits listed above.
cattails, I can guess by your screenname that you are a cat person, whereas I have never been one. That said, I am the one who usually feeds, waters, gives him the shots, and cleans up after his dirty little ass. I think I'm the one receiving the cruelity.

Yes, your story is very familiar with me and many on this board. As you continue to post you will find kind and loving advice, much as you would expect from the "true" christian cong. That is also exactly why I left, they claim to show love like no other organization, but do nothing but gossip, slander, and show favoritisim to certain ones.
Continue to post and you will find unconditional friends, maybe some even close to you. I have met a few posters on here that go to my meet up group for ex jw's. Have patience and things will work out for you.

Chronicling the Highlights of Six Months Out
by Chaserious ini thought i would share a few highlights of my experiences over the last six months here, since i know you guys will understand, and i felt like organizing in writing a little.
this week marks 6 months being officially out of the wts, although it was about a year coming before that.
here are some of the things i have been able to do for the first time that i (and my wife in some cases) probably would not have been able to do otherwise!

Congrats on the progress so far to both of you. You may be suprised at how much better you feel when you do revisit the past and put it down in writing. I don't know why, but when you write things down it purges your soul, plus it may help others who have felt or who are feeling the same things. The board works both ways, some there to help you, and you there to help others. You never can tell what an experience or how you are feeling will effect others.

apart from creating the facebook page, i've created a youtube channel (youtube.com/shunthisass) where i plan to occasionaly post jw related material... but probably mostly to goof around with ( i like making/editing videos).. .

I told you it was too long, but whatever floats your boat. You definately have to wait until the time is right, and watch what you say, you don't want mother figuring it out before you spring it on her.
I have already told you how you will have encouragement and support from many on here. We have all been there, already know what you are going to feel and think. Please listen to the advice that most on here give, and always remember that you are not alone, you are not doomed because you left this cult. You are young, smart, and have a happy life before you.
